Our Story
The One Conference began in 2019. Sherry Day and Charla Palma remembered all the challenges that being a teenage girl held, and they wanted to create something that would help girls navigate through those challenges. With a lot of discussions and prayers, The One Conference was born! It gets its name from Matthew 18:12 and the beautiful song Reckless Love. We loved the vision of leaving the 99 to go rescue The One. It seems a crazy thing to do, unless you are the one. To be honest, we have all probably been the one at some point in our lives. Through the last six years we have seen so many girls grow closer to God and even meet Him for the 1st time. It is a blessing to serve Carlsbad and surrounding areas and share how God always thinks YOU are THE ONE.
